The Lace Museum

Plan a Visit


The Lace Museum is open to the public Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00am to 4:00pm.  The museum is also open by appointment.

Gift Shop

The Gift Shop carries a wide range of lace making supplies, reference materials, lace items including hand-made table and bed linens, doilies, lace gift items and greeting card enclosures, a wide range of beautiful vintage lace and embroidered hankies, vintage lace trims, edgings and clothing parts, and vintage adult and baby clothing. We also feature gift items and holiday ornaments hand made by our volunteers.  Be sure to attend the Museum's semi-annual vintage lace sale the fourth Friday and Saturday of March and September. Your purchases support the Lace Museum.


If you plan to visit with a group of 6 or more, please contact us at least one day in advance.


There is no general admission fee. Donations are always greatly appreciated.

From 101

From 101 Northbound - Take the Sunnyvale, Mathilda Ave South exit
From 101 Southbound - Take exit 396A to merge onto N Mathilda Ave.
Merge onto N Mathilda Ave.
Stay on Mathilda for approximately 2 miles.
Turn left on El Camino Real.
Take the first left onto S. Murphy Ave (before the light at Sunnyvale Ave).
Turn right into the third or fourth driveway,

From 280
From 280 Northbound - Take the De Anza Boulevard exit and turn right onto De Anza Blvd.
From 280 Southbound - Take exit 11 for De Anza Boulevard and turn left onto De Anza Blvd.
De Anza Blvd becomes Sunnyvale-Saratoga Rd. at Homestead Rd.
Continue on Sunnyvale-Saratoga Rd for approximately 2 miles. Bear right to continue on Sunnyvale-Saratoga Rd.
Turn left onto El Camino Real.
Take first right onto S. Murphy Ave.
Turn right into the third or fourth driveway,
