**** We urgently need volunteers to help staff the museum **** Please call to volunteer!

Many Hands Make Light Work!!

As the years go on, we are finding the need for more volunteers at the museum. We would like to lighten the load on our older volunteers and guarantee that there are enough people available who know how to keep the museum running.

The following jobs have been identified as present needs:

Calling all Lacemakers - bookmarks and ornaments needed!

We would be grateful to every lacemaker who would make a bookmark or ornament in any lace type to sell in our giftshop. All of our expenses are paid with the generous donations from our friends and income from our giftshop and workshops.

Help with the gift shop - sales, pricing, stocking

Do you like to decorate and arrange furniture? Then you would also be helpful in setting up new lace displays. Those who used to do it are no longer able and we seek new volunteers to join the new committee. You don’t need to be a lace maker to help. Just call the museum!

Help with clipping out old news articles about the musem and, possibly, scanning them to store on disc.

Bag and label lace items for sale in the gift shop.

These are jobs that can be shared with others by setting up a rotation roster or choosing a specific event or workshop to coordinate. You need not be a lace maker to help.

Please consider donating a bit of your time to the museum or, perhaps, finding an acquaintance who could use the satisfaction of being a volunteer.

Calling new Docents!!

If you would like to follow a series of training classes to become volunteer docent at the museum, please contact Elaine Merritt 408-268-9690, or call the museum.

Adopt a Project Program (please consider adopting one):

-$100 of designated donations will allow us to print the front page of a newsletter in color

-------Building Fund -------

We have a bank account set up to accept contributions to our Building (New Home) Fund. 100% of the funds will be used either for long term leasing or purchase of a permanent home for the museum. If you wish, you can also send a check to the museum to be used for our present monthly rent. If everyone who has an interest in lace will donate just one dollar, we may soon have enough!!! Please pass the word on to everyone you know.
