Calling all Lacemakers - ornaments needed!
We would be grateful to every lacemaker who would make a christmas ornament in any lace type to sell in our giftshop. All of our expenses are paid with the generous donations from our friends and income from our giftshop and workshops.
May 6 - Aug 2 - Exhibit: Flora DeLucchi Collection of Pre-19'th century Italian Lace - this lace will be on loan to the museum
June 21 & 22 - Knitted Lace Workshop taught by Ele Schwartz (see workshops)
July 19 & 20 - Tatted christmas Ornament Workshop taught by Ele Schwartz (see workshops)
August 2 & 3 - Hardanger Embroidery Workshop taught by Ele Schwartz (see workshops)
August 6 - Nov 7 Exhibit: Embroidered Lace and Lace Embroidery
Demonstrators Needed:
Come show off your skills and keep the art of Lacemaking alive.
Whether you’re favorite lace is Bobbin, Tatting, Tape, Crochet, or Knitting (or anything else)
Demonstrating is FUN.
